Join us at the Penticton Art Gallery's exhibition event and discover the thrill of art collecting! Traditionally seen as an activity reserved for the wealthy and elite, art collecting has become more accessible than ever in the 21st century. That's why we're inviting art enthusiasts of all ages to join us and start their own unique collection.

RULES:

Here's how it works: Starting November 23, and for the first week of the event, children ages 5-12 will have the opportunity to select their own piece of original artwork to take home. To ensure a completely independent and authentic selection process, parents are not allowed in the gallery space during this time! Our gallery staff will be on hand to assist the young collectors and guide them through the selection process. Each ticket purchased guarantees a work of art to take home, and all proceeds will go towards funding our youth programming.

YOUNG AT HEART IS BACK!

But the fun doesn't stop there! Last year we opened the tiny door for a special Young at Heart event starting the second week of the exhibition, and we are bringing it back. Starting December 3rd, this gallery space will also open to art enthusiasts ages 13-99 who want to start or add to their own collection. Just like the young collectors, participants in the Young at Heart event will select their own original artwork without any outside influences. With a wide selection of unique pieces to choose from, our gallery space is designed to make the selection process fun and easy. Each ticket purchased guarantees a work of art to take home, and all proceeds will go towards supporting our youth programming.
