Over the next few months we are taking the opportunity to reorganize our back storage area and in the process we have come across a number of works or art that have been acquired by the gallery over the course of our history, many donated to assist with our annual fundraising activities. In that spirit and in an effort to free up some space we want to set them free back out into the community and onto the walls and into the homes of those who will breathe new life into these works, adding a new chapter and your story to their Provenance.

Provenance refers to the history of the ownership of a painting or other work of art, documenting the social history of the object. The works offered here all have a story to tell and our hope is that by putting them back out into the community they will take one a renewed sense of importance and hold a special place of honour in your home.

In an effort to make this opportunity as accessible to everyone all the works have an opening bid of $25.00 which is more of a function of our desire to find good homes for these works rather than any indication of their market value.

Art is in the eye of the beholder and we have curated a selection of works to try and ensure that there is something contained within this collection that will appeal to as broad a range of tastes as there are people. In the end there are no wrong answers and we hope and trust you will find something here that will bring you many years of joy and fit your budget.
