Creative Wellness

Saturdays, 1:00 - 2:30

February 8, 15, (no class 22nd), March 1, 8, 15

Using art and nature as a creative wellness practice. Participants will experiment with the use of different art supplies in a sustainable way. In this relaxed environment, using art journaling is a way to practice mindfulness while learning or refining and building new skills.

This workshop is enjoyable and meaningful for youth and adults.

No art skills experience is necessary, just an open mind to learn and play.

This is a five-part workshop session and is recommended to register for all five workshops to benefit from the Expressive Art practice.

The session is facilitated by a certified IEATA Creative Wellness Service Initiative guide. Using the Expressive Arts approach, these non-clinical workshops are focused on therapeutic presence where participants can create art that encourages resilience, wellness and self-care.

Session details are subject to change with notice. If changes occur, registered participants will be contacted with updates.

Any questions, feel free to email: creativewellnessinitiative@gmail.com

The five-class session is $100 for non-members and $90 for members.

Drop-in, if available, is $30 / class and available for booking by calling 250-493-2928.
