Artist Talk: Stephanie Perry

Join us for an artist talk with Stephanie Perry on May 20th at 1 pm, where she will discuss her recent exhibit "Nature's Reverie" in collaboration with the Meadowlark Bird Festival at the Penticton Art Gallery. Stephanie's work is inspired by her upbringing in Port Hardy, BC, and her deep connection to nature. Her paintings capture the spiritual element of the natural world and its symbiotic relationship with humans. Using a variety of techniques, including Indian dot painting and metallic paint, Stephanie creates bold and fantastical works that honor the creatures of nature.

During the talk, Stephanie will discuss her creative process and how she uses vibrant colors and patterning to convey her reverence for nature. She will also explain how her painting, "the Call of the Meadowlark," was created for the 2023 Meadowlark Festival, which highlights the beauty and importance of animal life and the natural environment. Join us for this engaging and insightful talk, and learn more about Stephanie's artistic vision and her efforts to connect with a wider audience.
