“I am a contemporary impressionist and abstract artist working in acrylic, oil and mixed media striving to capture the wonder and grace of life that is ours should we choose to receive it. It is sheer gift to wake up every morning with breath in my lungs and another day before me with endless possibilities. I want to paint that. I want to share that. It is my hope that whoever stops to look at my art will have eyes gently nudged wide open to see the beauty and grace that surrounds us every day.

I was born in Blind River, ON. While I’ve been interested in pursuing art for many years, music was my main focus and remains one of my many creative expressions. However, moving to the Okanagan with my family in 2008 afforded the time and inspiration for me to pursue another dimension of art. I’m primarily self-taught with a few art classes behind my brush and continue to learn through the generosity of other artists, ready and willing to share their expertise with me. I’ve recently begun to show my artwork and have participated in the following exhibits: Lake Country Art Gallery - Under 100 Show, 2019 & 2020 Kelowna Art Gallery - Undressed, Summer of 2021 Penticton Art Gallery - Under 500 Show, 2021-2022
