He initially pursued a career in musical theatre playing Brad Majors in the first Canadian production of The Rocky Horror Show and performing on Broadway and touring much of the world as Pianist/ narrator of the historic Canadian theatrical hit “Billy Bishop Goes to War”. He won a Jessie award for Best Musical Direction for his work in Vancouver’s “Angry Housewives” and spent 9 years as writer/ musical director/ performer at the Theatre Royal in Barkerville.

One reviewer called it “A gorgeous slice of tenderness which radiates sincerity and humanity. “
