Patrick “Redbeard” Vrolyk Live Show 4-5 PM


If you would like to see Redbeard in action he will be live broadcasting three episodes of his show at the Penticton Art Gallery at 4:00 pm on March 25, April 22 and May 13. These events are free and open to the public.

Patrick “Redbeard” Vrolyk’s story was born out of the hazy mythology of one of the 20th centuries a greatest cultural phenomenon’s the Grateful Dead. The year was 1997 and Redbeard back home, fresh off a pilgrimage following the latest 'Dead Tour', to find his roommate and close friend Sebo had recently acquired some glassblowing equipment and supplies. It wasn’t long before he found his creative outlet and his passion for glass blowing quickly grew beyond that of a backyard hobby and turned into a business, with each of them selling their pipes to an ever growing list of collectors and fans at the local markets.

Redbeard has also gained an international following through his web based program The Redbeard Show, a live glassblowing tutorial entertainment show live streamed each week on YouTube and featuring an archive of over 150 episodes.
