Prema Harris stands in awe of our capacity to create and make our ideas manifest - as lived and exemplified by the many creative folk she’s had the good fortune to work with: her two daughters (one a singer, the other a dancer); the artists of Tumbleweed Gallery, which she founded in 1988; and the musicians, dancers, actors and writers with whom she has spent time and observed closely through her volunteer involvement in Penticton’s arts community. Prema would like to more deeply understand that which sparks the artist’s impulse to breathe life onto a blank slate. At this Topics & Tea event, she will propose the notion that artists are the high priests and shamans of our secular world.
This event is free and open to the public. Baked goods generously donated by The Bench Market.
