“HONOUR YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL”
SATURDAY MARCH 12th, 1-4 PM with LOUISE LAMBERT
We all have Spirit Animals. First, we have a Totem or Power Animal, who is with us from the time of our birth. Second, we all have one or more Animal Spirit Guides, who are there to help us through the challenges and lessons of this life’s journey. Quietly imagine: do you sense the spirit of the bear, deer, fox, raven, butterfly, wolf, otter, owl, goose, salmon...or some other animal?
Get in touch with the sacred essence of one of your Spirit Animals by creating your own
artistic interpretation in this inspirational and rewarding workshop. You will be provided with gentle instructional guidance allowing you to complete your own work of art reflective of your spirit and vision. Using a picture of your choice, or simply from your own imagination, you will first draft out your design, then, using brushes and acrylic paint, you will create your painting. By the end of the workshop, you will have a completed Spirit Animal painting and will be able to take it home with you. Also, you will have the opportunity to tell us why you selected the particular Spirit Animal you painted, and what that Spirit Animal means to you. The workshop is open to all: from beginners to those who have painted before.
Louise Lambert, a Metis and professional artist, will be your guide and instructor.
