Annette Witteman

Annette Witteman began her formal art training in 1990 at the Okanagan University College in Kelowna, B.C. exploring various art mediums and completing her Visual Arts Diploma in 1993. Annette moved to Victoria to attend University and there received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honours and distinction majoring in modern sculpture. Annette Witteman is now artfully living with her husband Michael and kids Jasper, 8 and Grace, 6 on Mayne Island, B.C.She works creating site-specific installations, sculptures and painting in all mediums. Annette is currently working on a community mural. Annette has sold her two-dimensional work at the Lloyd Gallery in Penticton and has been included in many group shows and several solo exhibits across BC one in the Netherlands, and several in the Art Gallery of the South Okanagan (now the Penticton Art Gallery). A busy mother, Annette tries to get to her studio/gallery on her property and whenever the opportunity presents itself, she finds herself creating.
